The Countdown Is On

This is it. The moment has come. In less than 48 hours we will all be saying Goodbye to 2019 and Hello to 2020.

Fun Filled Holiday Adventures

There is nothing more comforting than sitting next to a warm lit fireplace on a cold winter’s night. Hands wrapped around a nice hot cup of cocoa, watching as the outside world turns into a white blanket of snow. A fully decorated Christmas tree with tinsel and lights bringing the festive season to life, not to forget all the different family Christmas traditions we might have.

One of my favourite holiday traditions is watching as many fun filled family holiday adventures as possible, ranging from Hallmark Original Christmas Movies to the Classics.

Throughout the years I have managed to watched so many films that it was hard to figure out which ones were my favourite. Luckily enough I managed to compose a list of 10 films, which I think are worth while watching during the festive season. They are all comedies which bring laughter, joy and Christmas spirit to everyone.

10 FILMS TO WATCH THIS CHRISTMAS

  • Home Alone (1990)
  • I’ll Be Home For Christmas (1998)
  • Deck The Halls (2006)
  • Christmas With The Kranks (2004)
  • National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989)
  • Planes, Trains And Automobiles (1987)
  • Unaccompanied Minors (2006)

Jingle All The Way

It is officially that time of the year. The streets, markets and shopping malls are all bustling with people. Christmas jingles can be heard from a mile away. Decorations light up every corner. Santa and his Elves work double time to create a cheerful festive atmosphere and with only 5 more sleeps till Christmas, the pressure is certainly on for everyone.

Now I don’t know about you, however if you are anything like me then you would know what I mean when I say, it just wouldn’t be Christmas without any Christmas songs. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I do believe that one should at least listen to some festive songs on Christmas Day to lift up their spirits.

Throughout the month of December I decided to listen to as many different renditions of Christmas Songs as I could in the hopes of finding the best Top 10. Overall I have to say that if you’re after a Christmas Album then Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby or Michael Buble are the best way to go, they will not disappoint (nothing can beat the classics). As for the song selections, it was a hard choice but I managed to find 10 Christmas jingles which in my opinion are the best.

TOP 10 CHRISTMAS SONGS

  • Let It Snow – Dean Martin
