Welcome to Pop Wave!

Hi I’m Viki and I would like to wish you a very warm welcome to Pop Wave.

I’ve never done a blog before let alone had social media accounts, I guess I enjoy being off the grid or I’m incredibly hopeless when it comes to technology (you can take a pick…. although to be honest I think it’s a bit of both).

The reason why I decided to start Pop Wave was to create a place where I could share my thoughts on Pop Culture especially in regards to music, film and books…. however mostly music. Whether it’s a new song, a new artist or an amazing concert that I’ve been lucky enough to have attended, I would like to share it with you!

In all honesty I think I just needed a space / little corner to write and put my creativity to use, with music being the best topic seeing as music is my passion. I don’t think I could ever imagine a world without music. Music is like a soundtrack to our everyday life, depending on how we are feeling and what we’re going through, that is the music you will hear playing somewhere in the background. It allows us to take a glimpse into someones world without a single word. Music sees us through all of our emotions, it’s part of who we are no matter what.

This is a project that I am starting and have absolutely no idea what to expect so I really do appreciate your time and hope that you will enjoy reading what I have to share.
